Did anybody catch the TFC 16 on HDNet last night? It's replayed a few times. The main event was Tim Sylvia vs. some kid named Abe Wagner. Titan's entire roster seems to be littered with UFC's last-decade flotsam & jetsam; their 17th event in March is headlined by Phil Baroni.

Ill portent for the stubborn badass; the flotsam and jetsam didn't fare too well. :yep

Rich Clementi went life and death with some 4-2 unknown and got rocked a few times before getting TTFO (triangled the **** out) with a minute left.

Then Sylvia - fat as ever - got KTFO in the blink of an eye, essentially ruined by the very first right hand he felt.

With the UFC getting even more aggressive with their releases of late and Strikeforce becoming a bit more discriminating in their talent selection in an effort to put out a better product, Titan could eke out a small niche for a while as a sort of D-league/last chance hotel promotion...but will probably go the way of so many other flash-in-the-pan MMA start-ups before too long (I give them a couple of years). Their homegrown talents on the undercard weren't much to write home about.

Jason High has always been explosive. Seems he has gotten a little more versed in subs. Clementi had it coming. Cocky *******.

I was happy to see Clementi get choked out.

The elbows by Anthony Gutierrez were absolutely brutal. He impressed me.

I don't see him sticking around with Titan; this is just a pit stop for him.

If DREAM can keep clinging to life, he can ride with them for a portion of his career and should ultimately wind up signing with either of the big American companies.

He not only looks out of shape, he looks old now.
