http://www.datruthboxing.com/blog.c...ey-defeats-alexander-stopped-due-to-headbutt/ This was one of the worst fights I've ever watched..I dont even think these guys would beat Khan or Maidanaatsch
thats kind of overreacting, It wasnt good but it still was decent. I have seen way worse fights then this.
Maidana throws bombs and is sturdy enough to exchange with them while Khan is physically too superior and has way too many skills to be remotely threatened by either. I would say Bradley would have a chance if his punches had a bit more pop but lets be honest he isnt going to be throwing anything like enough to keep Maidana off him and Khan is simply way to long and fast.
You'll need to stop bitching. We got a fight with two top guys in a division. Sometimes they don't always play out. At least we don't have to be wondering how that fight will play out anymore.
I am now fully aware that UFC has given boxing fans a mixed idea of what boxing truly is. That fight was good. The level of talent, speed, technical ability and agility was something you have not seen in ages. "Boring"? There was not a boring portion of that fight. I enjoyed each part. They moved too fast to hurt each other and still landed blows enough to keep the fight competitive. With many of these "fans" nowadays, I can see Sugar Ray Vs. Hagler being "boring" because of the technical abilities and lack of drama from anyone being in trouble or blood. Both fighters fought, exactly how they normally do. Did you expect Timothy or Devon to become knockout artists overnight? Don't forget they both can take a punch and have good defense. What did you everyone expect? Reading some of these reviews truly display how painfully sad some boxing "fans" are.
i have to agree....in my opinion neither of these guys are legit. I can not the either Bradley or Alexander beating either Khan or Maidana. In my opinion it was a very boring fight and there is no doubt Alexander quit. None of these guys are ppv material...hell i change the channel while the fight was still on last night. They are not explosive, interesting or hard punchers. No disrespect to either but it was just a boring fight and I could care less if there is a revenge, the same thing will happen.
One of the more asine comments I've seen on here recently. Not all fights between what is regarded as the two best is always a barnburner and not all fights are boring. Leonard-Hagler was widely viewed as a very boring fight, and those two are legends of boxing and there are numerous examples of fights between 1 and 2 being amazing and numerous examples of fights between 1 and 2 being boring. And really if this fight was one of the worst fights you've seen....you haven't been watching boxing for too long and need to continue to educate yourself in the long history of boxing.
terrible fight.. I was so embarassed to buy a beer and chips to sit and watch this headbutt fest. to me the highlight of the fight was Gary Fat Shaw watching his own fight on a 10 inch CRV TV. I mean..come on...a millionaire promoter and he can't get the fight in high def with LED TV. Just f'n pathetic.
I personally enjoyed the fight. My judgment may be colored from the four grand in vCash I received from it but, whatever. Yes, this also. I would not have bothered typing a similar comment, given the amount of energy I have right now, but yes.
