I am pretty amazed at some guys like Hatton,Valero and Duran. Obviously on the dama blanca.

If some of those guys only had stayed clean, who knows. Duran being an exception, ofcourse.

 

I dont see how hatton could have acheived more really and his style was alwasy going to lead early retirement almost regardless of how he looked after himself. Valero , well **** thats a different story

You know thats why Duran gets so much respect , you have to be one HELL of brawler to have the long , many weight division career he had . there aint many come forward guys can look back at a career like his !

 

True, Hattons career probably would not have been that long lasting, but I think he could of produced a tiny bit more than he did, had he really stayed off everything else and devoted himself thuroughly to boxing.

Too bad we didn't get to see Valero at 135-140lbs right now, that would've been outright amazing.

 

Aw man , hittin his peak , would have been exciting no doubt ! A fight with pac would have been dreamland

But hes a take punches to land punches guy , they always burn out young.

realistically what more could hatton have acheived , two weight world champ , dethroned ( an aging ) legend and only got beat by the two best fighters of his generation.

So if he stays a bit fitter hes jsut taking moer punishment and short of beating Pac or may in rematch there is no more to add to his legcy ( going back in time and fighting Witter not being possible )

 

Sheeeeeiiit , can you imagine. giving me the chills just think it !

 

if he could have kept his head more after the pacquiao defeat and fought a couple of tuneups, and stayed in shape he would be in a great position to fight a big fight against bradley or khan,and win over one of them would have done his legacy wonders. the pac defeat stole his entire boxing soul,so i dont think he will ever be back.He was a hell of a fighter and one of my all time favorites and i'm an american.other favorites of mine were Thomas Hearns,Trinidad,D. Michalczewski.

Hatton's footwork and quickness are remarkable. Calling him a brawler is just so wrong. He's an infighter/pressure fighter. He's gonna get hit. Oh ****in well.

The dude lost to Mayweather and Pacquiao. He got in with them too early imo, but **** if he didn't give Mayweather one hell of a fight.

 

Too bad he didn't have a better coach.
