Warren rates Burns ahead of Scott Harrison

victor polo was a fighter who only lost to the best and controversially too.

head to head, burns is a tough fight for harrison but harrison is really underrated. he was strong mentally and physically and it broke people.

i think of polo fight but then i also think of the arthur and johansson fight.

people forget what scott has done and what he has achieved.

certified dick head but he stepped up relatively early and it was full speed ahead despite the medina fight where he said he was ill and seemed to prove it in the rematch.

scott could beat a consistent stream of world class fighters. easier said than done.

 

Who you fancy out the two of them ? Cant see burns at the end bell to be honest after a good scrap for 6/7 rounds harrisson stops him late imo

always thought Harrison was monster at his wieght and would have loved him to fight Chi it would have been a war

 

scott harrison was special,with big paydays round the corner,until the destructive personallity crept in.cryin shame he never got to mix it with barrera,morales,pacman at the time but boxing waits 4 no one,,and its ricky burns time now,,which he earned by winning the title from a more dangerous fighter than any harrison fought..so wait till ricky boys finished then we have the discussion,,,know who my moneys on:spy:deal

 

X2 Scott should have been allowed to fight thes.e guys but it never happened,in Rickys case Frank is 100% behind him he knows hes a total professional and will make the big fights for Ricky

 

Harrison could've potentially mixed it up with those guys. Burns would never have fit in with Elite class like that.

Harrison was a notch above. He'd smash Ricky, durable, tough and a fairly smart fighter, to bits. Ricky is not elusive, and Harrison was 3X the fighter Martinez is.

 

I think frank was doing harrison a favour there. Proffessional or not the way harrison fought he would've had the **** kicked outta him by those 3, with his toughness aswell it would've damaged him long term career wise. On form harrison is a notch or 2 above your man imo(as we speak) and warren would look at every available avenue if burns was in harrisons position then to avoid those 3 mentioned. In short he would'nt put burns in with them either

 

a prime Scott Harrison without the troubles was only bettered by MAB,JMM,EM & PAC at the time, he'd have beaten INJIN CHI imo.

and even then he'd have had wars with a couple of the above before losing, think stylistically at the time JMM was the worst matchup for him but that was the matchup most talked about.

 

Warren a die hard promoter to the last. Burns better than Harrison? Has he fallen and hit his head? :roll:

 

It's funny how no one is appreciated til there gone. I can't remember Harrison being half as highly regarded on here when he was active.
