I dont think its fair, if a fighter is serious blurred or double vision he has every RIGHT to stop. This is his career, this is how he makes money.

Because the ***** caused all the butts by diving into clinches every 15 seconds and made a big ****ing scene and forgot which eye actually got hit.

why would you want to let the doctor examine your eye so he can se that something is not wrong with you, and send you back out there to run and flick jabs and get punched in the ribs the rest of the fight?

Cunningham ran the damn doctor off once devon wanted the dr to stop the fight the ****ing man quit

my girl said he is a ***** and he quit and she saw only mayweather mosley and this fight. I understand a casual fans or new fans fustration with the sport already

That little nick was not causing double vision, Bradly was the one that had all the bleeding from that clash of heads. Anyway do you really think HBO is going to take another chance at disapointing viewers?
Devon is going to have to prove his self worthy again now on espn or not televised at all like ortiz had to do to be back in the good graces

you know what? I was being too hard on the guy. I have had my eye split open from a headbutt before. It hurts way more that any punch. I still think he's a bit of a ***** to be an elite champion though

how come nobody is pointing out that ALEXANDER CAUSED ALL THE BUTTS. He was diving in throughout the whole fight, trying to mimic John Ruiz.

He came into the fight thinking headbutts were going to be a factor, had it on his mind, and couldn't wait to use it as an excuse.

Bradley suffered just as bad from the butts...there was one early that Bradley clearly got the worst of, but Alexander was the one complaining. Both talked about being warriors, one proved it, one didn't. And Dirrell bitched out too, I gave him the benefit of the doubt but all that made up bull**** after the fight, pulling out of two fights in the tournie b/c he didnt like where they were held- **** him too.

**** American fighters in general these days.

Damn that sounds ****ing nice man. Send me a picture of the before and after when you get done with it.

I'm trying to get my hands on a beat up 1967 Mustang with my taxes. Hopefully fix it up within 1-2 years.

Many people on these boards are idiots and most of them have never been in the ring to know what it's like. Keep in mind that people on here were calling Rafael a quitter though he went to war with JML and was taking a beating before the fight got stopped. He has had physical problems BEFORE the fight yet people(idiots) criticize him. Honestly, I thought Devon knew he wasn't going to win but if he had problems with his vision then I don't blame him for not going on. I also agree with these posts below.

People are blaming both fighters for a boring fight when it was only Alexander who was tentative and focused 100% on defense and on the back foot the whole time. Bradley was going for the knockout the whole time and actually shook and intimidated Alexander early on and broke him down mentally to the point to where he was looking for a way out. The headbutt was just an excuse, he didn't want to continue regardless. BUT, if he couldn't see then he couldn't see and I give him the benefit of the doubt on that and I'm not gonna call him a quitter. I'll just call him an inferior fighter to Tim Bradley. Bradley shouldn't be getting any criticism from the fight because he didn't purposely cause any of the headbutts, he was just doing his thing and he won a unification bout against an undefeated fighter so why talk **** about Bradley?

honestly, blood and sweat dripping down your eyes is hella painful. why they couldn't just water that out is beyond me.

but we all should have the same standards that all the black people have for roberto duran. Alexander quit but probably under better circumstances.

    a quit is a quit.
