Mayweather cites Anderson Silva as an example. Anderson Silva is the best I've seen in MMA and I've got a good amateur boxer that would out box him.
dis is hw it always will be a boxer will always win a boxing match nd a mma fighter will always win an mma fight
What is wrong with that statement ? Anderson Silva is a muay thai/ jujitsu specialist, he not a boxer.. I doubt Silva would be on the same level as a world class amateur boxer that has been practicing his are for over 15 years. The same goes in reverse .. Too much is taken out of context, when ever floyd talks.
notice.."out box"...not knock him out. would like to see the slick style in MMA. Bisping comes to mind
Floyd talks a lot of ****. But he's right here. Any decent boxer would beat Anderson Silva in the ring.

Mayweather is right, a boxer would outbox him but in a mma fight silva would beat 90% of boxer because of the variety of skills he has
Freddie Roach said he put Silva in to spar some amature heavies and said he looked terrible. Then he said he saw him on tele and thought wow maybe he could be a boxer. He is talanted, I like the way he KO'd Griffin but who knows how he'd do in boxing. I would say boxing is still 1 up against MMA because Tony was finished in boxing and Courture is still a top 10 fighter at 205 imo. Toney has a terrible style for MMA aswell.
