That's just sad. Poor delusional ******* thinks he is heavyweight champ. Look at the bright side, at least the interview was printed out so we could read what he was saying, because I don't think I can interpet the mumbling coming from his mouth.

You can't raise or lower rank when nobody will fight you. :bart

This BS of saying he is or isn't this/that would be fine if they guy wasn't talking for YEARS and nobody shut him up.

The dude has been in the HW mix since 2003 and NOBODY has sparked him yet.

"Toney has become a caricature of himself now. He's really not even a top 50 heavyweight at this time."

    Dont be silly now

The dude needs someone to shove him a couple of cheeseburgers down his mouth. His days are over and he has never been heavyweight champ, he could trick the MMA fans, but he surely cant trick the boxing fans when it comes to facts...

Man, just let the guy talk. He knows deep down what the deal is, he's just trying to get the money. That much is obvious. Toney won't get it, so why worry?

And no one in the boxing ring ever is going to shut up James Toney.

He is merely hyping his business, which is himself. Can't fault him for trying to make money.

But at this point, his *I am still the best/they are all afraid to fight me* rhetoric is really rediculous, and a bit sad, even.

I bet even the interviewer had a hard time not laughing at him when he went into that cocky schpeel. It'd be hard for an interview to even act as if they were taking him seriously, at this point.

Toney is not an elite fighter at heavyweight now. Just look at the post above yours Prettyboy A and be reminded of his greatness at heavyweight! He's an ATG smack talker but as a heavyweight he never was even great. Sam Peter wasnt great but the 2nd fight was very clear and how much has he declined since then?? Look at his record and see it speaks volumes.

Tony is a legend of defense. Which is what makes me wonder, how on earth did he manage to get brain damage after missing relatively few blows (compared to more offensive style fighters)
