It's either 47-47 or 48-46 for Maynard. Going into the 5th it was either Gray lost the round for the draw or won the round for the UD. 10-8 super-clear for the first (In reality, it should be a 10-7, but judging sucks ****ing balls in MMA...I don't even think the judges know what the **** they're watching) 9-10 10-9 9-10 And then the 5th. Amazing ****ing fight...Edgar is a TOUGH ****! DAMN! That guy has heart!
First off i thought going into the Edgar vs Maynard it was going to be a boring lay and pray fest, but afterward i would like to say i think the draw was the right decision neither one deserves a loss as much as i hate maynard.......one of the best fights ive seen in a while by far
And yet he gets booed :huh, I'll never understand what the crowd has against this guy. P.S.: Damn Edgar's Slam was amazing!! :happy
Yeah, that was **** ridiculous. Sometimes I don't get crowds. The biggest thing I've noticed is that they'll adore a takedown, but they seem to hate the grappling. Contradiction?
Do people just boo Edgar because he beat up everyone's butt buddy BJ Penn? This kid came into the night the legitimate champion, and a soft spoken one at that. Tonight he showed guts on top of his solid boxing skills and good wrestling. He's not the most charismatic guy in the world, but he is a good champion as far as I'm concerned.
I really enjoy watching displays of male dominance in the cage, and Silva provided a heaping of it. Thiago Silva spanking, slapping, and Sakuraba double-chopping Brandon Vera really got me going.
