Tonights fight: was it good or bad for boxing?

this was a massive win for boinxg

 

good for boxing, I think...I thought it was a good fight...but in a game-of-chess kind of way...

 

Tonight's fight was great for boxing -- it was a brawl from the word go

 

Im not too sure, depends if Mayweather decides to retire or not. If he does then its a bad thing for boxing.

 

Very good night for boxing. I'm a huge fan of the sport. And after what I consider one of the worst undercards in a long time, Floyd and Ricky delivered a great show. Props to both.

 

i thought it was good and bad for boxing...good in the point that our P4P king of boxing had a good knock out performance ....unlike the DLH fight where all eyes were on boxing an he ran all night... but on a bad not i definately had mayweather winning by 3 rounds or 4 if you were counting the KO round but the judges cards were so ****ing discraceful ... only one round for hatton... that is BS an cortez taking that point away he should have got a warning first....lol on a side note did any one else notice joe cortez was in front of the fighters blocking the camera all the freaking time lol

 

I enjoyed it and was happy to spend my $50 on it.

 

Ricky brought a lot of supporters in there! that alone is a good thing for boxing, having some play as the protagonist and the other as an antagonist is a good recipe for a good fight. Tonight was just like that.

The Hatton fight was great!

Much, much better than the Oscar match, which was boring and dull!!

 

Good for boxing, what more could we ask for!

 

Would have been better for boxing if Hatton had knocked out Mayweather.

 

As a Hatton fan I have to say the best man won so yeah it was good for boxing, and it was nice to see PBF not being a dick after the fight.

The ref was a tosser though.

 

That's because he's a moron, either that, or he's too scared to fight natural welterweights. But yeah I agree with you Quik, if he retires, it's defintley bad for boxing. Now we got all these Floyd nuthuggers jumping up and down because Mayweather won, as if he proved any of the doubters wrong. First off most people were displease about the fight because many people knew this was mismatch a long time ago. Two this fight was hyped so much that people were to bound to give in and finally expressed their opinions, probably hoping for Hatton to win, but never really gave a ****. (such as myself)
