    Anyone who thinks Tyson Fury is a promising young fighter should just stop watching boxing. The only reason anyone knows anything about him is because he has the word Tyson in his name.

    He's physical condition tells me everything I need to know about how hard he trains.

    Maybe Emanuel Steward should stop watching boxing then.

    Yeah because trainers only ever work with people who are future champions, nothing to do with money is it

    Maybe you're right, I don't pretend to have a vast boxing knowledge. He did however recently say;

    “Tyson Fury has the ability and I think in my expectations will be the next superstar dominant heavyweight much along the lines of Lennox Lewis and Wladimir Klitschko. The way that he’s progressing now I believe he can be maybe the complete package for the heavyweight division because of his talent. He's a good looking guy and (has a) very colourful personality, I think he can be a tremendous shot in the arm for the heavyweight division in the future."

    His surname is money. His surname equates to publicity and exposure, which in boxing is what generates you money.

    "So, Manny, how do you rate Tyson Fury's chances in the future"

    "He's pretty average to be honest mate."

    Never happens.

    yes, he's pretty fat, likes his mc donalds, yet he is still far to good for every other british heavy, though ill exclude haye but not chisora, youve heard it hear, and time will prove me correct, he'll probably have to fight somebody even better than these brit heavys, so ring your mates in boxing and tell any of themother brit heavys that wembley is the place 19th feb, there all running scared, your men that is, probably beat them with one hand as well.:think:good

    no need to forgive me, NO , BRITISH HEAVY WILL FIGHT, so the discusion has no point, its an open house on the 19th, have a pole see who's available to fight in uk. This will save hennesy some money , and probably more for the purse as less travel expenses, Now boys save the british heavyweight boxing face, get your man, and lets take it to wembley/?:think:goodPS, TYSON IS IN MANCHESTER and last time i saw him, he was eating a piza with his brothers, so sureley knowing that there shouldent be a problem.

    He's simply not that talented.

    He really doesnt have much power at all, and if he steps it up he is going to need that to keep opponents honest,

    Lee Swaby told me that he was fast, but his punches were softer than some cruiserweights he's fought

    I would love him to have a training camp like Benn had in the 1990's e.g. Tenerife early runs in the mountains and coming to fight night ripped.

    My point was that people calling Fury a joke and a fraud earlier in the thread were harsh and that he is a promising young fighter. Furthermore, Emanuel Steward, who knows far more about boxing than I do would go much further than this. Therefore labelling him a promising young fighter is not a statement so outlandish that anyone who does so should stop watching boxing altogether. I agree that he gets more media coverage than he would were his name not Tyson.
