At 140 lbs. Mayhem for 15 rounds. Who and why? Lewis was one intriguing fighter...I'm learning more about him. This may be one of the best fights that could ever be made from what I've read about Lewis.:good
TED (KID) LEWIS wins this as he forgot more about fighting than Pryor ever knew. Lewis was a great fighter that could take it and give it. Pryor never fought anyone above Jr. Welterweight. Lewis on the other hand fought all the way to Lt Heavyweight. Ted (Kid) Lewis fought then all in his time period skipping no one. Lewis`s record shows he fought every Hall of Famer in his time. 282 bouts to 39 bouts pretty much says it all as he had so much experience over Pryor the Kid would know what Pryor would do before he did it as in 282 pro fights there`s little that you wouldn`t see or get hit with. The Kid fought the great Jack Britton 20 freaking times winning and losing the welterwight title in the process several times. As far as his losses go everyone from that time period had losses on their record. It was a tough time period in boxing history. The number of fighters at that time dwarfs it today as for every fighter you have today you had 10 to 12 then and maybe even more at times. New York State had 42 fight venues in the 1920s to 1940s that held weekly fight cards and some twice a week. I dare you to find this today anywhere in the whole damn country, hell the whole damn world anymore. You can`t because it doesn`t exist anymore. These guys fought more in one month that a Mayweather fights in his whole career. TED (KID) LEWIS STOPS PRYOR IN 8 TO 10 RDS. PRYOR FINDS OUT EARLY THAT HE CAN`T HURT LEWIS AND LEWIS JUST GOES AFTER HIM LIKE THE LITTLE GUY THAT PRYOR IS. PRYOE FINDS OUT FAST THAT THE KID`S NOT A BLOWN UP FEATHERWEIGHT NAMED ARGUELLO.
Did you even read and understand what the hell I even said. It`s called experience and Lewis has it all over Pryor. Pryor never fought the competition that Lewis fought or the weight class`s KID LEWIS fought in every weight class from bantamweight to Lt Heavyweight. Pryor never came close to anything like that at all. LEWIS TOO FAST, HARD HITTING AND TOO EXPERIENCED FOR PRYOR. PRYOR LED WITH HIS FACE EARLY IN A FIGHT AND THAT WOULDN`T DO WITH THE HARD HITTING ENGLISHMAN.
