:goodAgree. I thought his win over Maidana erases doubts from the Prescott loss. I like Khan and don't mind if he faces McClosky at all just as long as he faces Bradley soon. Nothing to argue about if he takes that route. Khan has gotten better and moved on. Prescott hasn't capitalized on beating Khan and needs Khan more than Khan needs him. Khan has bigger fish to fry.

the word bum is thrown around far too often imo. it disrespectful. Peterson and Mcloskey are far from bums

Yep i actually am, so you're the idiot, who the hell has Lamont beaten or who has Mcloskey beaten of any worth i'll answer for you no one, no one has even heard of this Mckoskey dude until Khan went out and dug him up unless maybe you're from wherever the hell he's from and then his hometown may not even know him.

Lamont would lose to every top fighter he faces and Khan would blow him out the water, only an idiot such as yourself would think he has a chance.

Well lets just replace the word bum with average, Lamont is average and so is Mcloskey, Prescott is also average so if we have to watch Khan fight an average fighter it may as well be the average fighter who knocked him out to make it interesting.

I agree with ya it would be more interesting for him to fight some1 that knocked him out. i would much rather see this fight. Mcloskey is well known over here thou he fights a lot on tv and could easilly sell 10 000 seats in Ireland...even if its not Khan in the opposite corner. He is a good undeafed european champ...far from average. Granted hes not world class

Neither of these guys are bums you overdramatic knob. They're both solid enough fighters for a stay busy fight, honestly both doing better than Prescott right now. Peterson just drew with Ortiz. You know, the guy who that ****** in your avatar is trying to sign a fight with? He's certainly worthy of being considered for a tuneup at this point. He's a top 10 140lber.

I've never seen him fight, i live in the U.S. and he very well may be pretty good, i'll probably try and find some clips of him, because i'd much rather see Khan fight a live opponent than to see him fight someone who he will easily beat.

If you actually believe Peterson deserved a draw with Ortiz then there's no point speaking with you any further.

I didn't....I had it for Ortiz by three. The point was, he made a great showing against a highly touted prospect MUCH bigger than him on fight night and came back enough to get that decision. He's not a bum, period.

bums are the nobodies berto blows out on top rank undercards.

I exaggerated a little with the word bum purposely, but my honest assesment of Lamont is he's an average fighter who will never beat the best let alone be the best, all i'm saying is if he's gonna fight someone average he should fight the average boxer who KO'ed him as a personal milestone.

I mean if i'm a highly touted fighter i would want to avenge this loss for myself my fans and my critics, he has an open date with no one scheduled it's not like he's unifying the belts or anything, i'm sure many fight fans would rather see him face Prescott rather than Peterson, i for one surely do.

have you never heard of taking an easier fight before a big fight? ali fought soft guys inbetween frazier foreman and co. so did mayweather, jones, ect ect. amirs 24 u cant expect him to get in the ring with banger after banger. he'd have a short career if he did.

Its not a bad idea, especially if he is going to have a stay busy fight before his next big name, might as well avenge the loss. True it would have been better before but its not too late, not as late as Wlad's Brewster rematch.

I wouldnt give up a mega fight for prescott but if its a stay busy fight it would help his legacy the same way lennox was able to say he beat all opponents by way of rematch

Khan is young and going to be around for a long time, he may regret later that he didnt get a rematch

Bum? Do you even know or respect rankings? Or you just rely on your stupid insinuations and perceptions?

Lamont Peterson is ranked 6th by WBA, 6th by IBF and 7th by WBO while Breidis Prescott is not even in the top 15 of all the four boxing organization.

Now who between the two deserves a title shot?
