larry is a bum, no boxing ability at all, he got beat by an absolute tomato can he cant throw punches correctly, looks like a bouncer in town centre, price would school him imo
I think that's harsh. He's improved since his loss and has went out of his way to do so (going to the Wild Card for example). And he does have big punching power which will always keep his fights interesting. I doubt he'll be a force at domestic level, but he should be in some entertaining scraps. Price would win handily IMO though as well.
Sky should threaten to terminate his TV deal if he keeps serving up shite like that for fighters that are no doubt being paid good money. Either that or Price should sack him and sign with someone else. The lad is 27 and an Olympic medallist...... last night's opponent would be one he should be facing on his debut or maybe 2nd or 3rd (at a push) fight. DeGale 9-0 - British champion, stoppages over Smith and Horton. Price 9-0 - erm...... points win over Peret. :-(
Tyson Fury your having a laugh, please Tyson Fury is gonnar get smashed when he fights someone half decent he should of got beat by Mc doughnut first time round. :scaredas:
maloney i am sure he said last year he was going to stop all theses overseas sh1t fighters, he is just a sh1t promoter
why not just send for zack page, we would no more then, You know hagman maybe ive studied boxing for nothing, as i must have got it all wrong somewhere, please tell me im not dilusional, but did not fury fight a better fighter with a better record in his second fight than price and dallas did last night, its not to criticise them, a wins a win, but for god sake fury has boxed the better men by the country mile, so in that respect is much more experienced and more tested at around a dozen fights.:huh:think:good
Totally agree. The writing was on the wall with the card to be fair, Maloney press releases saying that he cannot get a decent opponent to fight Price, signalled he was offering peanuts for the high risk- low reward fight with Price.
I've thought that for ages now. When you think back to the 'dark days' of Friday Fight Nights, the biggest piles of tosh always came from Maloney. And the stuff he is churning out now is no better than the **** Hennessy gave us in the last few months he had on ITV4. And his promise to stop bringing these bums over lasted about 20 seconds.atsch I like beeston's idea of threatening to axe his TV deal, but I can't see Sky ever doing that. And as he said about comparing DeGale and price at this stage-Warren gets stick for not challenging his prospects, yet the lower profile Maloney gets away with it. Look at the absolute cans Price, Jeffries, Dallas etc. have been put in with, and will continue to be put in with. The first time Jeffries fought anyone with a pulse he was lucky to scrape a draw-and this kind of thing isn't helping anyone. The paying public, either at home or in the audience feel ripped off (massive boos during the Price fight yesterday), Maloney loses credibility, and the fighters don't learn anything. Boxrec is always good for a laugh. After a show like yesterday, someone inevitably starts a thread like this on there, and gets shot down by their high and mighty who call Maloney 'one of the best promoters about', and defend the bums that come over because 'Frank can't help if they're ****' just cos he posts on there. It's a shame it's how it is, and maybe I'm being a bit harsh-but I expect better when I sit down to watch the boxing on a Saturday night.
