I think he could retire if it was up to him. He has enuff money to waste on wannabe gagsta hiphop singers. But his clan around him dont have the kind of money he does. Edelberg, Roger and company will never let him retire. What will those clowns do for a living if he retires? Will they give singing lesson to wannabe rappers in philthy rich records?

Fighters always have a tough time retiring, or staying retired. Money, limelight, ego, sense of purpose, etc... Mayweather's been fighting since he was a toddler. What else is he gonna do? He's gonna get bored. "I'm going to promote, blah, blah.....". He also tonight said on the prospects of a future fight "if the money is right, who knows?". I wouldn't be surprised if this is a ploy to negotiate for more money. Bottom line, Floyd will be back fighting in 2008, whether it is in 5 months or the end of the year.
Even though i wanted Floyd to KO him i feel sorry for him. He's a good guy, got his chanche to beat the greatest but failed, his career and confidence have dropped big time i guess.
