Marquez-Morales off. Morales-Maidana under discussion.

What the hell does JMM want anyway? Wouldn't surprise me if it was a money issue. He's lucky he is with GBP who are similar in thinking and willing to put up with his crap.

Dissolution of this fight is good for the sport though. JMM now will either have to step up and face a 140 lber or atleast fight a Soto or Guerrero at 135.

Marquez should fight Bradley, I would not mind seeing Maidana vs Morales.

Unfortunately for my man Erik morales, I think maidana will KO him.

 

There is nothing for Morales to prove. I hope he just retires before he gets seriously hurt.

Maidana is a worse fight than JMM for morales, atleast JMM is equally old and doesnt hit as hard. Morales is ****ing crazy he will get caught up trading and KOed, he doesnt have any power at 140.


I thought JMM-Morales was finalized but whatever. Morales needs to retire

I think its a smart move by Morales.

If you look at it from an analytical standpoint, he has a better chance at beating Maidana than he does Marquez.

Marquez is so much more multifaceted than Maidana, that there is actually weaknesses in Maidana's game that a good boxer like Morales can exploit.

I look at it this way......boxing match or fire fight, Morales is'nt on the level of Marquez and has'nt been for a while......Marquez beats him either way.....

.......but with Maidana there is a chance he can put his boxing skills on display and if Morales came in great shape and fought a diciplined boxing type of fight, he'd actually have a chance against Maidana.

Maidana is a seek and destroy type of fighter. With a good game plan, a great fighter even on the decline that implements a great plan, can diffuse the strenghths of that type of fighter.

I'd worry about putting Morales in against fighters with speed and hustle, thats not Maidana.


.......again, Maidana has much more weaknesses than Marquez that Morales can exploit and at least give himself a chance.

......and not only that, apparently Morales would be fighting for Amir Khans 140 lbs title vs Maidana.......they'll elevate Khan to SuperChampion so that Morales and Maidana can fight for another one of boxings bogus titles.
