was he as '****ing old' as bernard hopkins was when hopkins was beating tarver/pavlik/wright?

age is a number man, nothing more.

duran went toe-to-toe with a giant middleweight who'd go on to fight at heavyweight, and showed skill & steel to take the belt

    shot to ****???

    don't make me

Why don't you just come out say it?

Anyone who thinks Duran was "shot to ****" against Barkley needs to follow another sport, because that person doesn't know **** about boxing.

    No.

He was way past it though and "The Blade" had a style that was perfectly made for Duran to take advantage of. Just another reason what made Duran so great. Just when people felt he was done many times he comes back and proves he still has something left in the tank.

I just think HEADBANGER has been banging his head against way too many hard objects lately and needs to be returned to his padded cell.

Hm, so because he had a great fighters number he was a three division champ. Yeah. Right. Barkley surely is no atg but a very good fighter.

I enjoyed Barkley vs. Coetzee somewhat. :D

You think the trolls of the General Forum would realize now that every time they come out with some bull**** statement to further their own agendas, it will get turned into a poll in order to expose their idiocy, but they keep spouting bollocks so we can keep laughing at it. :smoke
