i assume john breen will get dean byrne in to spar with mccloskey. he was khan's chief sparring partner for the maidana fight, anyone any inside news? i read the other day that no expense will be spared with preparation..
no moorser the limit is actually 4200 and cannot be increased there is a planning issue with them that is being addressed but wont be done on time ,, maybe for willies defence v booth/ munroe/ quigg / frampton paulie/ collado in that order!
great analysis there, mccarthy has gone hw now, coincidental that 81 has become the toughest division there should be good, karl brabazon is back too, think it was 2005 when he won
I think Burnett and Phelan will be the 2 to look out for at 52 and although Phelan beat him last year I think Burnett will just edge it , it might come too soon for Ward but I dont think Kenny is getting any better with age and now is the year he could lose, it has to happen sometime and Ward is really on form !! Wasnt too sure on 64 tbh but think Hickey is the best of the bunch since he moved up !!
I never seen Brabazon fight is he any use ?? McLoughlin is the form boxer in Ireland at the minute with his win over european champion Backsai a few months ago and his big win over Gallagher last week I reckon he will win it handy this year !
"The last fight before the co-main events really got the crowd going, as local favorite and Irishman Seanie Monaghan went toe-to-toe with Yonkers native Angel Gonzalez in a light heavyweight brawl. The fighters fought in a phone booth throughout the duration of the contest, exchanging hard blows as both fighters bled. In round 3, Monaghan starting getting the better of exchanges and really wobbled his Puerto Rican flag-wearing counterpart, as the round came to an end. The referee stopped the fight before the bell rang for round four, after he determined Gonzalez could not continue" http://queensberry-rules.com/2011-a...ng-screaming-and-gabriel-bracero-winning.html
