His main weapon was his left hand, and he barely used it the whole fight. I'll agree that he looked like ****, but it was 50/50 between the confidence and his shoulder not being healed all the way yet. If all the power's been sapped out of his left, then Lacy is pretty average; becomes Yusef Mack with a better chin.

 

Lacy was pathetic. Kessler would knock him out inside three brutally one sided rounds. Let's be honest, Manfredo made him look rubbish, and Manfredo is pretty poor himself.
This is Lacy's level now. If he's not happy with it, he should retire today.

He's not the same fighter he once was. His long layoff, injury, and beating against Calzaghe have left me to believe he doesn't have much left. I wouldn't pick him over any top 10 super middleweight. And I'm a big Lacy fan...

 

Yeah I believe Jeff Lacy is DONE. It could be a mix of his surgery and rust but he still didn't throw jabs and still swung wildly for the head instead of throwing to the body. Very disappointing

Joe Calzaghe killed Jeff Lacy a few years ago and left hook is officially RIP. Dude raped everything about Lacy and Lacy has never been the same since. I guess thats what happens with 1000 punches land on your head.

 

Ummm, Kessler would own Lacy at any point of Lacy's career and on his best night.

 

I think Lacy is shot and Manfredo sucks for not taking advantage of this

I feel the same way, unfortunately. Jeff's confidence is gone and he looks more muscle-bound than ever. I'd like to see him cut weight, or at least size.

He wasn't snapping with his punches, he was swimming just like he did against Calzaghe. He actually was punching harder against Tsypko until the injury.

Jeff looked awful last night. He'll get creamed by anyone decent, including Allan Green and Edison Miranda. Pre-Calzaghe Lacy beats both those guys convincingly, and he would have gotten Manfredo out of there early.

 

He was just SO slow. I mean, it looked like he was punching underwater.

My lord, he versus Tarver will be like two turtles going at it.

 

Lacy and Manfredo sucked!!!! That has to be atleast a candidate for **** FIGHT OF THE YEAR. But seeing as how it was Oscar's undercard, I should never have even hoped.
