At the middle weight limit i see Hagler and Hearns catching up with him at some point. Ahough Roy could easily catch Tommy too. Leonard could also have enough skill and desire to pip him. I don't write Roy off against any off these three because of how special he was, but i also see these, especially Hagler having enough to overcome him. I'd give a James Toney who was'nt weight drained a better chance of defeating Roy too at SM or LH. At LH you'd have to give the likes Foster, Charles and Moore a fair shot too. Has good as Roy was all these men are special also, and did he ever fight anyone as good as them. No! Hopkins and Toney are the best opponents he beat, i'm not saying Roy would'nt of beat them anyway, but Toney was having weight problems and was'nt himself. Hopkins was not yet the fighter he'd become. Facing a few of the men i've mentioned above would show us either way just how special superman was.
Michael Spinks, Bob Foster. Marvin Hagler would be a tough matchup, especially since Jones was still improving when he was @ 160. Dwight Muhammad Qawi would be a live underdog, although I still favor Roy in that matchup.
175 lbs and lower my money would be on Roy every single time....not to say some dont have a very good chance of pulling off what I consider an upset
