Two heavyweights that were big but didn't have much talent, fought each other when during the bout, the ring collapsed, who are they?

On Nov 30, 2002 a fight for the Zambian heavyweight title between Brian Bwantu and Joseph Phiri was declared a no contest, when the ring collapsed in the 2nd round.

Yes, that one was documented several places, But the one I am looking for happened several years before that one, late 1990's.

I can think of two more ring collapses, one in Italy and the other in New Zealand... but both took place in 1989, so not what you're looking for.

The ring collapsed after Pintor beat Meza in Mexico City (as a rather pointless aside).

Then you must be thinking about the fight, that took place in Nashville, Tennessee on October 1, 1998...
between Ed "the Giant" White and Ken "Rocky" Bentley, where the ring collapsed in the 2nd round.
