    you might be right if spongebob kos cotto. you might see pbf ovoid spongebob. and it would not make any sence cuz spongebob brings a wide fan base and $.

    I think Cotto deserved a fight against Floyd more than Hatton. Hopefully this will happen next year.

    Floyd dominated Hatton easily but Cotto would have smashed Hatton to pieces within 4-5 rounds max

    I think he has earned a shot (i mean look at all the undefeated fighters he took out, his competition was no cake walk!), but I would also really love for him and Paul Williams to fight each other for the shot at floyd. Kermit should just give his belt to Cotto or Williams because he does not even deserve a paper trinket!

    Yes. Cotto and Paul Williams are the two logical top contenders for a shot at Floyd. Perhaps they should fight each other to create a number one contender of sorts. If either of them started to gather the other belts in the division - he eliminates all other options for Floyd at welterweight.

    damn right he earned it, but floyd is prob trying to get pacquaio now, or even someone smaller if possible. why bother with welterweights when he can dominate what he calls "midgets"?

    Cotto, Williams and Mosley are the top welterweights after Mayweather. If he doesn't fight one of them next year then he should retire. He's an ATG regardless. No one is interested in any other matchups. Cotto deserves a shot more than anyone else. And pls. no rematch vs. DLH. Even Floyd admitted it was a dud.
