    Trainer Emanuel Steward is expecting the best Ricardo Mayorga (29-7, 23KOs) on March 12 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mayorga will challenge Steward's boxer, Miguel Cotto (35-2, 28KOs), for the WBA junior middleweight title. Mayorga has a reputation for not taking his training camps seriously and often struggles to make weight. This time Mayorga is training very hard. Mayorga has not left the gym since the training camp for December's fight with Michael Walker. ...............................HE BETTER TRAINS HARD,CAUSE HE KNOWS HE'S IN FOR A RUDE AWAKENING!!!!!....................WAR COTTO,5TH RND KO!!!

    Of course! 5 or 6 years after his last good fight he suddenly is better than ever before :good

    It's a mismatch and Steward knows it. Just a sad attempt to hype the fight.

    I thought Steward had more integrity than most boxing managers/promoters/trainers. I guess I was wrong. He's trying to sell boxing fans a gourmet meal while 99% of the fans know it is a **** sandwich. :-(

    I'm looking forward to this fight. I know it's a joke fight, but i'm happy Miguel's fighting again. You always gotta expect your opponent to come in at their finest, even if that's impossible in Mayorga's case. Still, whatever shape he's in i feel Cotto will stop him late.

    Believe it or not,Mayorga is actually a threat to Cotto

    Hes going to be very dangerous,especially in the early rounds

    Mayorga is going to be hungry for that knockout

    He knows this is going to be his last big fight

    exactly. I expected more from Steward also. He has been around HBO lately, which is making him bs a little.
