I'm looking forward to this one .Simpson Smith .I think this one will be the complete opposite of the first one , brutal .A war hopefully maybe even a foty .

 

He might not be, but if there is a possibility he could disengage Simpson with his reach, for the whole fight this time, then it could be an issue imo.

I mean I like Simpson, he Booth and Napa are my favourite British fighters, but with respect, do you need to be Floyd Mayweather to have the required ring generalhip to shut him down?

I do think Smith is a bit limited in term of skillset. To me Smith just looks like a long range 1 2 fighter who has a tendency to overshoot his punches, and so holds (smothers) on to guard against potential counters, but maybe given the level both fighters are at, maybe he still has enough to cause Simpson problems? I dont know, I hope not, as I would like Simpson to win personally, just food for thought.


Having said all that, the kid Truscott is probably better than Smith from long range, and he still lost to Simpson, and what with Billy Nelson's conditioning, meaning he's capable of fighting at the pace he did against Lindsay, then hopefully he will win. I hope Simpson can get Smith out of the center of the ring, that could be key.

 

im gonna take a risk and say smith will stop simpson, john is made of iron but he might walk onto something big, pretty sure smith hurt simpson with body shots in the first fight.

I have two good hands now, training is going great, we have a great gameplan and I am looking forward to putting it to practise! Billy Nelson thinks John Simpson is the second coming of Robocop....no one else does! Everyone else knows what he is, a good tough featherweight. I have more than enough to beat Simpson, I have only just scratched the surface in my career, John's been beaten over and over again.....and will lose AGAIN in his next fight to myself :blurp

Am on the fence in this fight it's a Crackin fight I like swifty been all but one of his fights think he is gonna become a massive name in world boxing in the future!!! But Simpson is a class fighter aswell and he is a tough kid and for some reason does better away from home A think where in for a good fight It's defo goin to points IMO
