He seemed alright health-wise.

 

Michael Moorer seems to be described by everyone as a bit of a grumpy *******.

He even came across as a grouch on 24/7.

Oh well, it's better than beating up cops.

I'm going to the gesta fight on friday in the city too. I think he could b the goods. While everyone calls out every Filipino fighter nowadays as 'the next pacquiao, gesta is the first prospect i've seen who I think really could be.

 

Never met Michael Moorer but ive heard that too.... Every boxer ive met has been super cool for the exception of Michael Carbajal.. He saw that i recognized him and as i was approaching him enthuasticaly he gave me a dirty look and walked away, and i was a big fan of his too.:-(

 

A friend of mine is in the California State Athletic Commission and has met many fighters, and has good stories about almost all of them. Duran, Arguello, McClellan, Foreman, Barrera, De La Hoya, Trinidad, Espinosa, the Ruelas brothers. He said the only boxer that he ever met in many years of working with the CSAC that was a complete ******* was Lennox Lewis.

Met Roy jones at the zab judah vs spinks fight. Real cool dude. I remember someone saying he was 5'9 in person, that is a lie. He is a legit 5'11. Met floyd last year at his gym. I live in vegas and I drove by to see his gym. The door was open and floyd, roger, and some kids were there training . I met floyd and roger. Floyd was probably the nicest boxer I met. He trains like a beast by the way. Met bernard hopkins and winky wright. Didntt get to speak to winky for that long but he told me he was going to ko hopkins. Hopkins was cool as well. He said the fight was going to be easy. I guess we found out who was right. Met mike tyson outside of wal-mart and in target. Nice guy but he was tryin to holla at my mom which wasn't cool. He is definitely not 5'11,more like 5'9 at best. Met muhammad ali, which was an honor. We only should hands and I told him he was my favorite fighter.

 

Also met Sergio Martinez, a really nice bloke very genuine (english isnt great though)

 

I've had a few pints with Alex Arthur and my best mates uncle is Ken Buchanan.
