Vitali h2h for anybody is a bad match up

Vitali would have a 5 inch height advantage reach and a big weight advantage

he throws hi volumes for a big man and also has a wide assortment of shots

in his prime he hit extremely hard, still does now just not as many KO's

Ali is one of the greats and is so hard to rule out but he would have alot against him

Of all the heavyweights in history, I honestly think Vitale is by far the worst possible matchup for Ali stylistically.

how so? I think lennox lewis or holmes is, vitali is too slow and has bad footwork, I think really fast heavyweights might trouble him.
Ali would dance circles hitting him with the jab and fast right often enough to win a comfortable ud. I favour vitali over a lot of heavies but I think Ali is a bad match up for him.

    Agreed,

Ali fought and defeated a lot of big powerful men in his day, but Vitali has never faced a man with the combination of speed, skill, stamina and durability that Muhammad had. In fact, the closest thing to Ali that Klitschko fought was probably Chris Byrd, and not only is Byrd several leagues below Ali, but Vitali lost to him. ( albeit under unusual circumstances. )

Vitali's too slow and gets outworked and beat to the punch every time.

remember guys, this is a dude that has lost to the best competition he came up against. Ali won his :deal

Ali TKOed George Foreman in his prime (and a prime foreman hit much harder than Vitali)

He would make quick work of either Klitschko.

    Ali, WIDE decision.

Ali made Liston, who is quicker and a big puncher with both hands, along with having a 3 inch reach advantage over VITALI look like a sloth.

Vitali would look like a snail and given his history, may even quit on his stool because it would be a completely one sided fight.

Ali's speed and footwork, desire and dedication would be FAR too much for Vitali.

Who has Vitali beat? He got the ass whuppin of his life against Lewis and quit against Byrd.

Ali has the best resume in history.

This forum is going to ****.

Please notify me when Vitali beats someone of substance. He's a great fighter, but this is outrageous.

He was shredded by an out of shape, past it Lewis when he was in his absolute prime, and at the first hint of adversity, quit agianst Byrd.

Ali fought with a broken jaw against Norton.

Vitali couldn't even knock out Johnson, when all Johnson did was lean on the ropes, and threw only 5 right hands.

This is easily the worst era in heavyweight history. You got a guy in Povetkin who is ranked number 3, and a gold medal winner (as if that means **** anymore), who is already being stated that he is on decline by the majority of Klitschko fanatics.

Anybody of anykind of relevance in the United States is playing football and basketball. Do you honestly believe that Chambers is the best athlete in the world?

When European's come to America to participate in the NFL and NBA they are always rated as second class athletes compared to their American counterparts.

In the 60's and 70's boxing was televised on public television in the US. Nowadays it's only pay per view.

Why is that the Eastern Europeans didn't win one damn gold medal from 1904 to 1996, which happens to be around the time where nobody in the USA gave a **** about boxing.

The Tyson era was officially over.

As physically gifted as the klits are they both share in common some of the worst balance Ive ever seen. It would be a close fight. But vitali would nt land many flush shots on Ali thats for sure. There is no hw today that could go 15 rounds, match the pres sure of a frazier, power of foreman, or intimidation of a liston. Even fighters that were considered limited back then were not as limited as the ones today. An aging lewis was able to edge vitali a prime Ali counters vitali all night. nobodys getting kod in this fight

so a basic vitali jab jab right hand beats the fastest moving best jab and combination punching heavyweight of all time???

vitali would be lucky to win 3 rounds in a 15 round fight

vitali would be far far to slow and would be picked off easily by the speed of ali
