To be fair Billy, you have started a topic here on a forum talking about another coaches unbeaten run.....so u cant blame anyone for assuming your jealous! Fair enough, you train a world champion etc but with the topic being started by you then people are going to see it that way! U asked for that really :huh
Haha it was a completely different pain to anything I had ever suffered with in my life but like I say, its all in the past now thank god. Just waiting confirmation of exact date and venue but will be sure to let everyone know as soon as I do. All the best :good
I had Simpson win his fight against Smith by two rounds and a good friend of mine who knows his boxing had it the same - but it was a close fight and many rounds could have went either way. I personally think that Simpson should have moved on from British level and sought a European title fight or world title eliminator - he has fought everyone and gave a good account of himself.
IIRC the general feeling in the RBR was it was a close fight which could have gone either way by a round or 2
Thanks swifty. Yeah thats 4 months now and im still in alot of pain but cause they made a mess of the 1st operation though im sure you didnt have to use the NHS as i did!! haha!! Good luck and all the best to you too mate :good:good
Yeah I was lucky to be honest mate, Mike Hayton done mine and has done a great job. Thanks again mate, take care
Stephen, i broke my hand and damaged the tendons more than 6 years ago whilst thai boxing and never had any problems after an operation! Obviously i've never boxed to a level as high as yourself but hopefully u can have the same look with your hand as i did.
Stephen Smith wasn't impressive last time out. IMO, Simpson beats him handily this time by outworking him, Stephen has inherited his brothers ability to make a fight so dull it hurts, and doesn't have the power to get Simpsons respect IMO. The Mitchell that outmanouvered Prescott would have enugh to beat John Murray, who is no puncher and cannot cut off the ring. But he's coming off another long period of inactivity and his heart doesn't seem to be in it.
Im sorry Flea have to disagree here not sure about making the fight dull will wait and see how it plays out this time injury free fingers crossed I think Stephen has the power to gain Simpsons respect and there were certainly periods where Simpson was reluctant to come charging in and i would attribute that to Smiths decent power. He also had Simpson in a bit of trouble at the end of one round cant remember which with a body shot IIRC
No worries mate :good To be honest I'm not really that interested in boxing anymore, just looking forward to a good fight hopefully :good
