Larry Olubamiwo v Big Bad John

Larry early or John late.

 

Hard one to predict. Larry's technique is abysmal but he is a beast and could bludgeon Mcdermott to and early finish. If its anything like a boxing match though and Mcdermott will box the ears off him at a canter.

 

I'm really looking forward to this fight, just had a fiver on Larry in rounds 1,2&3 (at 14/1 each on Skybet) and a fiver on Big John on points (5/1 Stan James).

Blimey, even the Commonwealth board ****ed this match right off.

 

It'll be a shame if SKY don't televise this, I'm already missing out on the other card (being a Virgin customer)

Larry needs to jump on McDermott from they get go and make sure he takes him out. Will be a big test for Larry. McDermott has a good chin, pretty difficult to catch clean as well very good stamina and a decent work rate. A lot of things Larry hasn't really been up against all at the same time.

I reckon McDermott on points. Would of thought this would of picked up commonwealth status though its pretty high profile compared to some of the stuff they sanction.

 

Im thinking this will be Big Larry O's coming out party.

 

Thats pretty much how I see it. Larry O needs to get him out of there early or McD will get in his stride and win on points or late fatigue driven stoppage IMHO.

 

This could be a decent scrap for a couple of rounds. I hope Larry wins.
