I think this would be the perfect fight for Zab Judah to get back on track. As long as he takes Hatton before Cotto or De La Hoya crush him.

Ricky Hatton is very susceptible to being timed and hit with a fast counter punch while coming inside - Floyd nailed him several times with his right before the big left hook that sent Hatton reeling.

Zab Judah is as fast as Floyd, with 10x the power and a terrific counter uppercut to go with the straight left counter. Everytime Floyd dropped his hands, Hatton stumbled inside and ate a big shot. Judah loves to drop his hands and lure his opponents in, we know Ricky would get caught every time.

I honestly think Zab Judah would be a stylistic nightmare for Hatton, the counterpunches he'd land on Hatton coming inside would finish Hatton between 1 and 4 rounds.

Judah may fade towards the latter part of the fight but he wouldn't need it against Hatton who could be disposed of with one good power left on the button.

I'd like to pick Zab, but he's just to mentally absent for me to pick him with any sort of confidence. He certainly has the tools to beat Ricky, but he doesn't have the will to grit his teeth and get down in the trenches to win, and this is what I think Ricky will be able to do.

Nah. Judah always gives anyone hell for a few rounds before blowing his load and getting pounded. He gives Hatton a few scares early, but Hatton bulldozes him and takes his ass out inbetween the 6th and 9th.

Hatton has too much heart for Zab Judah. Judah would fold after four rounds as soon as he realized he couldn't drop Hatton with one shot. Hatton would break him down inside of twelve.

very winnable fight for both guys.... i can def see judah knocking hatton cold with a straight left, but i can also see hatton mauling judah and crushing him as well... good matchup if only for the potential of eather happening.

what i think happens is hatton beats up judah too bad before he slows down enough for judah to really get good punches in. mayweather had to wait around 5 or 6 rounds till hatton started to not be as intense and he could get some real good shots in... i dont know if judah makes it that long.

Hatton had no defence when he beat Kostya Tszyu. He's got a solid chin, and once Judah realizes that he cant back Hatton up he'll get disheartened and outhustled.

Judah is an incredibly gifted fighter. We have fawned over his physical attributes for damn near a decade.

That being said, I would pick Hatton for the following reasons:

    • I don't see Hatton being stopped early
    • I don't see Judah maintaining an effective pace for more than 3-5 rounds
    • Judah is the epitome of the kind of fighter that succumbs to PRESSUREE. Jesus, Baldomir did it....

yeah well Collazo & PBF both had Hatton on ***** street with PBF finishing him off ....

Judah hits harder than both of those guys and his hands are faster man Judah destroys Hatton
