From his current camp, to the McCloskey fight, and then the camp for Bradley.......I hope Khan learns as much as he can.

You get the feeling that this fight is definetly going to be made. Forget Pac-Mayweather and Haye-Klitschko, this is the next big fight out there that seems like it's going to be made. Plus both fighters want it, what a surprise, 2 fighters that actually want to fight.

Nice to see that this fight arranged for a natural date that should allow both to have one more fight at the end of the year. I'm a bit disappointed that they want to stick this in Vegas in front of 4-5,000 at the Mandalay Bay. I reckon they should be ambitious and stick this at the Staples in LA or at the Honda Centre in Anaheim and have a really good co-main event and aim for a 10,000 crowd.

Law of economics applies, they go were the money is. I would love to see it in UK especially at the Reebok but I can accept this fight being in the US as that's where the money's at, however I would prefer them to go somewhere other then Vegas feels a bit soulless when it isn't a big fight. Hopefully he can have a fight in the fall at the Reebok that would be sweet.

The Staples Centre would do miles better than Vegas, even with a shite undercard.

A few UK/US/Mexico matchups would make sure the place was rammed.

It really pisses me off the way that American Promoters are lazy ****s that put the fights where the licence fee is and don't give a **** about building a fighters name, grafting to sell tickets, putting their Boxer's name out there and building their following and marketability through hard work. No wonder the sport is in the **** over there. For every fight that is in a major city in an arena there is at least 3 in a casino in the middle of nowhere.

I think promoters over there are just ******ed.

What kind of nutter puts Bradley vs Alexander on in Detroit?

That fight should have gone to the home city of the biggest seller or to Vegas as part of a double header. As it was there was about 300 people there.

Two low level journeymen fighting at a town hall in England can get that, easily, regardless of where they are from and who they've beat.

HBO won't let Bradley vs Khan come to the UK but I'd imagine the totals for a 2am PPV at Eastlands or the Reebok wouldn't be far off, if you've got a few ticket sellers on the undercard, all things considered.

Putting that fight in Detroit was a disgrace. Someone recently asked Gary Shaw why on earth he was putting an event involving a Mexican in a small town in Nebraska, his answer "they asked for a Mexican". Gary Shaw is such a **** promoter, as sad as it is to say but Top Rank are far and away the best promoters Stateside and without them the game will be in even worse shape.

Got to say though Khan-Bradley does belong in the US. As crazy as it sounds it is a neutral venue there and will get more hype from there because Bradley for what ever reason does not create hype around an event that would draw a casual fan.
