He always had Vic's number...just a better fighter really, even though there was a period he didnt deserve to be ranked above him. The fact Vic is getting on and seems to have lost a bit of pop at bantam, makes this even more of a lock. Mares IMO would just be to slow and hittable. The Agbeko fight is really interesting for me...Though he does a lot of things that I could see Donaire's quickness capitalising on..Gets a bit wild and wide open at times. He is a tank of a bantam with a good ring sense..Solid chin and workrate, maybe his unconventional stuff could throw Nonito off once the fight started to grind on into the later rounds...But then again Nonito has shown he can handle unconventional. Agbeko beating Mares is by no means a formality..though I am picking it.
donaire should go up to 122 and get a title against the best champ there. he's already beat the man @118.
Donaire would murder Mares and Agbeko. He needs to move up and fight JM Lopez or Gamboa. Donaire vs JM Lopez already sounds like fight of the year on paper and in actuality. Two very talented technical boxers who also like to take risks and actually have punching power.
Wouldn't be interested in the Darchninyan fight. Vic didn't do anything in the first fight at all to suggest he's on Nonito's level
