    Heavy fave against Vitali?
Older yes but he poses as much problems for Haye as his bro does.Vitali has an iron chin for starters and unlike his bro he actually throws a hell of a lot of punches(Against Arreola he was averaging over 75 punches a round)doesnt hit as hard as Wlad yet still hits hard enough for Hayes fragile jaw.

@REEVO: yes I would, I'm predicting an early stoppage win for Wlad. I'd love to be wrong but Haye is a level below IMO.

life isnt that simple but i think the answer to this thread is

    pac= explosive power punching

wlad= heavy right hand , but no conviction

hatton= no real power and a shaky beard

haye= real ko power from anywere and a shaky beard

if history has taught us anything its that wlad wont open up on haye bcause he has to keep his chin protected .as has been said untill or rathe unless hayes cut up and knackerd and wlad is sure hes got nothing of serious note coming back his way he will not open up

Haye is not an all-out offensive fighter, he's a cagey guy who waits for openings. Wlad can shoot his one-two from way back, Haye is fairly eulisive but not unhittable. Wlad will starch him. He doesn't have a high punch output himself, and will get little oppurtunities even if he does get past the jab, Wlad is a proficient and strong smotherer.

Wlad is all wrong for Haye, Haye can't take a shot to give one against Wlad. And Wlad is not exactly glass jawed, whilst he has previously been buzzed he is a completely different fighter physically, and stylistically than he was in his most glaring stoppage loss, aainst Sanders. He got up numerous times, he has heart, and Haye required numerous knockdowns against Ruiz and Barrett to get the job done, Wlad can be stopped and is NOT INFALLIBLE but Haye is not the man to do that job, he's even more flawed and not a brilliant offensive force.

He hits quite hard, but he's not anywhere near a massive Heavyweight puncher. He's on the level of Bert Cooper (debatable already) rather than a Ray Mercer or Earnie Shavers.

He's also a sloppy finisher. Not something you wanna' be against a big lump who knows when to grab, and who will get back up. Haye is not gonna spark him with one punch, no way.

Apologies for the shitness of this thread, i'd had a few.

But i stick to the main feelings i have about it.

virtually everything Haye can do, Wlad can do and more, the only thing lacking is a bit of handspeed.

the main thing for me is that Haye has not been devestating at h/w.

If he'd done Barett in 2 rounds, finished ruiz in the first, and not ****ed around and got harrison out of it in the first, then i could see a way.

but Haye isn't a good finisher, and neither is he the sniper that some make him out to be, because he misses openings all the time, i can see wlad making one or two mistakes, but the chances of haye taking advantage are slim.

add to the fact he has shite stamina and some of the worst punch resistance in the entire sport, and i see an early ko.

wlad talks about giving haye a pizza face, but he's not dumb, all the time haye is in there, theres a chance he clips wlad with a bomb, and besides that i dont even think haye can take more than a couple of jabs without going down.

Yeah I don't think he has anywhere near that bad punch resistance, but nowhere near enough to withstand Wlads punches IMO.

I agree Haye is not a very good finisher but disagree on Wladimir's chin. He hasn't been wobbled for a good while but his opposition recently has been very limited (with the possible exception of Chagaev where i thought Wlad performed very well). We all knew Peter was never going to show enough movement to throw Wladimir off his methodical rythm of jab, jab, jab, striaght right and Chisora won't have the required stamina either.

However, Haye's moved constantly in all his heavyweight fights, showing caution and respect against the heavier punches coming his way. He could keep it up for 12 rounds and make it difficult for Wlad to consistently land his jab, it just depends whether he can do it effectively enough to get on the inside and set up regular power punches. I know Valuev isn't the best yardstick for a Klitschko fight but on the very rare occasion Haye landed a significant combination, it was set up by his good movement which put Valuev off balance.

If Haye does get on the inside (which I accept will be difficult) I really think he can put Wladimir down off 1/2 punches. If he then kept enough pressure on to keep Wladimir on the back foot, I think he could finish him off regardless of his wrecklessness when trying to go for the KO because Wladimir is not comfortable fighting on the move and looks vulnerable there.

That for me is why Haye has a decent chance vs Wladimir. He would have to put in 1 of his best performances, better than anything he has doen at heavyweight but I'd expect him to rise to the occasion

And like i have stated time and time again, David Haye would not run against Waldimir Kiltschko.

And the fight between them both, will look excalty like Harrison vs Haye.

    Shut up tosser

  14.

It was a temple shot against Mock. Completely different if Mock had put him down with a shot to his chin.

The knockdown against Barrett was more to do with him being off balance. He was fine.

I suppose you think Lennox Lewis was 'glass jawed' too?

When David Haye fights Wladimir Kiltschko it will look excalty like Harrison vs Haye.

It will be a pretty simple fight for Haye.
