Idk if this was done yet, but what do you think of the fight and of Mike Jones now? I didn't know if I liked Jones or not after their first fight, but seeing this fight made me kind of a fan. I like his hand speed, his left hook to the body and his combinations. Shows you what type of balls is has by taking a rematch right after the first fight. I'll most def watch his next fights.
Jones has a lot to offer. I think he has some shortcomings, but most young fighters do. He'll be fine. Needs to step it up now.
Jones fought a smarter fight this time but his footwork sucks, good that he learnt from his last fight though
Footwork could be worked on, but I like how he turns Karass and defends his open side at the same time. Its something that is pretty basic, but alot of "top" fighter don't do it. Like Devon for example.
Jones a good fighter than would benefit greatly from a new trainer. His size, body punching, combo throwing and speed make him a interesting project for the right trainer.
I like Jone. I want to see him fight Berto. I think it would be a great opportunity for him to make a name for himself while fighting for a title, and Berto would finally be fighting a legit welterweight.
