He would hold a belt at 140 as of right now! He would be on his way to unifying the belts..

 

the mental problems may well have been the reason he was so furocious but his boxing skills had along way to go so il say he is near maidanas level after being with ES

He would have been the one that would have fought Pacquiao instead of Margarito without a doubt. Since Bob Arum was highly interested in that match-up

 

i know your on valeros nuts but seriously he swung at people like a mad drunk, had poor defence and no real movement except from forward maidana would comfortably beat him unless valero landed one of his trademark blows cleanly

 

Maidana is a tough SOB.. but hes really just a crude slugger!

Valero had it all.. he was a boxer-puncher that had room to improve.. All this while being a drug addict and having a severe mental illness!

Valero would of beat the dog **** out of maidana.. he would of out boxed him or knocked him out... It would of been up to valero.. Because he could of beat him either way! :hat

valero was a rough diamond in need of some serious polishing, the valero from his last fight would have been stopped by maidana.
iv seen nothing in valeros fights to believe otherwise

 

Add to that a lovely jab when he used it!

 

I saw de marco a few years back on an undercard, I believe if they were naturally the same way I'd pick him to beat maidana, just my opinion

 

problem with most of valeros opponents they where intimidated no one really made him uncomfortable, was looking forward to seeing his progression

 

Valero ducked Humberto Soto many times though.

I know for a fact that Valero ducked Soto atleast 4 times.
