Montiel deserves props simply for getting up from that KO and trying to continue.

 

Gracious and dignified in defeat, showing how you get respect (and fans) lose or win. Hope we get to see more of him for a long time.

 

The guy just made another fan. :thumbsup Clearly a good fighter, and the class makes me want to watch more of his fights.

Other fighters should take notice.

I have a feeling he will be the first Mexican to win titles in 4 weight classes. 122 is really not that tough of a weight class and the guy is already coming into the ring at 134 on fight night. Time to move up.

 

^^ exactly how the **** do you weight drain to 118 and rehydrate to 134, being in the lower weights its much harder to hydrate that many pounds... Time to move up and make some noise at 122... if you want to be a legend go to 126 XD

He also said he ain't starting from the bottom, he will continue his path because he was elite.

 

Its rare that a fighter admits being hurt in the way he did there. Even though we all know the reality, some just cant bring themselves to admit it.

 

Man 122 will already be tough cause hes only 5'4" now 126 would be legendary for a guy that short.

 

He's the kind of fighter I like to follow , lets it all hang out in the ring and a gentleman outside of it.
