This fight would be as pointless as Ricky fighting ODLH. He'll just get another beatdown and a payday if there's any truth to it.
Pointless for both. Hatton would again make it competetive enough but would again lose. I actually think that if Cortez had not been so bias and in particular had not deducted the point and then done that bull**** of telling Hatton he was going to stop it, that Hatton may well have lasted the full 12 and just lost about 10-2 or 9-3 in rounds. But in a rematch PBF knows he can KO Hatton and I think this would make it an even more likely outcome than it was this time around, and I personally felt a late PBF TKO victory was very probable. For Hatton he should feel no shame losing to PBF and should move back down to 140 where he is most comfortable and look to unify. PBF should fight and beat Cotto and then call it a day. He would have nothing more to prove if he beat Cotto, and he would indeed beat Cotto.
:lol99 Is this supposed to be a joke?? FM wouldn't rematch what the hell for?? it wasn't competitive enough.. Sorry 1 sided beatdownd don't warrant a rematch..:deal Floyd and Oscar can rematach, that was close enough to do it again!!
Yeh the Daily Star the most reliable source of news in britain , if there not reporting the latest alien invasion then there talking this ****. Come on man if you live in britain surley you know the daily start is 90% bull ****. Girls in it are fit tho:good
The daily star is the journalist equivalent of cheap toilet paper. PBF - Hatton is a fight that never happens because Hatton wants out of the fight game. He has two more fights in the next 12 months and then retires. PBF would beat him a second time, and I dont think anyone would believe otherwise, making a rematch pointless.
If Hatton KO's Cotto, beats Williams or Margariot as well ODLH in impressive fashion, than maybe he deserves a rematch. But I doubt his gone do that.
Seems to me many of the Mayweahter fans can't even grasp how Mayweahter chooses his opponents nowadays, those who he thinks can not beat him and who bring in big money, the biggest money is still in Hatton and Mayweather whether you lot like it or not, figures will be bigger for PPV than De La Hoya Mayweather, mark my words.
Hatton's too damn small to be fighting anyone in the top five at 147. He had no business being there with PBF in the first place...didn't the Collazo fight prove this? No jab and the arm reach of a thalidomide baby. Stay at 140 Ricky!
Agreed...this is why Floyd's so damn good, though I doubt PBF would go back down to 140 for anyone these days.
Interesting. They should do it, and they should fight in England on Rick's terms, with his choice of ring size, a decent ref, etc. Fair?
