I think you're exactly right.

That and yelling insulting at the Klitschkos wherever possible in hopes of goading them into a fight.

257 is a joke, but a very familiar one when it comes to Toney. His excellent skills and beautiful counter-punching will long be remembered, but so will his inconsistancy and weight issues.

Can't belive Toney was a career high 257 and still pitched a shutout. Reed is definetly limited. I think he's like 8-14 against opponents with winning records. Probably 8-15 after the Toney fight. Guys that had recently stopped Reed Barrett, Greenberg and Raahman. He did get two wins against guys with losing records sandwiched in between the knockout losses to Greenberg and Raahman. Wonder how Toney would fare against Cedric Boswell who knocked out Greenberg in two rounds? Or Barrett who knocked out Reed in two but drew Charles Davis his last outing?
