Why is Haye so Inactive?

Really thats impressive! Evander is 48 years old.

Holyfield has fought tougher opposition though!

 

Most of the just critcism of Haye's activity rate came from 2008-2010; specifically the 12 month gap between the Barrett and Valuev fights. During this time Wlad had fought Thompson-Rahman-Chageav in less than 6 month intervals. This is still fresh in people's minds.

Since than, Haye and Wlad have pulled even with each other. Wlad's gap time between Chageav and Chambers and his most recent injury have played a role in that while Haye squeezed in two fights last year.

That kind of stuff has happened to both men.

 

Here is another way of looking at.. Haye has been fighting professionally for just over 8 years and has 26 fights. By the time Wlad had been fighting for the same duration, he had roughly 45.

Theres been no progress since 08. Beating a shockingly poor paper champ freak like Valuev by the skin of his teeth in the most boring heavyweight title fight of all time for the WBA belt is nothing to write home about.

David Hayes Heavyweight resume is utter ****. And his fans that try to defend him are just embarrassing.

Barrett, Ruiz, Audley: A nice list of old bums who arent worth a damn any more when Haye fought them. And not that they were even in the prime of their careers.


David Haye's crown jewel is beating ( a protected paper champ who lost to Larry Donald and Holyfield) Valuev by close decision in a very boring, poor fight.

Haye has beat ****ing NO one bottom line!! Haye got of the canvass after almost being Ko'd by Mormeck and that is his best win ever. And Haye was nearly taken out and wasnt that impressive.

Personally I think his cruiser weight legacy isn't all that great either. He missed all the top boys in that division other than Mormeck.

He should have fought Bell, Cunningham & Adamek to properly clear it out.

 

Well this is a bit silly, both Klitschko's if not injured or if Haye hasn't pulled out of one of their fights always try and fight 3 times a year and of course that is always against the top 10 ranked fighters in the division.

This is why it's perplexing when the many non boxing fans on this site have a go at those brave boys, what more do they want?
