Funny though because Pacquiao started his boxing career in the pro's and never had a complete amateur career and the experience from fighting in the amateurs like Floyd did. Pacquiao also wasn't groomed and babied by his father like Floyd was, Pacquiao never had teaching until he found Freddie Roach, Floyd was taught since the crib. Pacquiao had two fluke KO losses early, he came in over the weight limit in both of them, then went on to lose against an ATG in Erik Morales, then obliterates him twice in rematches. It's pretty clear that Manny Pacquiao had the skill at birth but didn't receive the grooming and teaching he needed until Roach.... and now Pacquiao has surpassed Floyd, reigning as the p4p king. While Floyd has to go into exile. Here's Floyd Mayweather Jr's Amateur record: Amateur Record: 84 Wins, 6 Losses, I guess Floyd got better from losing 6 times in the amateurs too?
Floyd is a great fighter but at the same time just an Immature and Insecure ******. I don't take anything seriously out of his mouth.
Yeah, losses early don't mean anything, everybody loses. Floyd has a loss to Augie Sanchez but he avenged it. Pac was nothing like he is now in his early fights, poorly trained, malnourished, then struggling to make that weight. A very crude fighter with ok speed and power. Roach did miracles for him, I've never seen such an improvement, I guess it really is the same as an amatuer career. However, there is no denying Floyd was a great fighter as soon as he turned pro. Can't argue that.
Did you know that Torrecampo just won(last week?) his first comeback fight since 1997? He is the first loss of Pac. His boxing career did not prosper. While living as an ambulant peddler, he killed a man who capsized his vending cart. http://www.philstar.com/SportsArticle.aspx?articleId=661356&publicationSubCategoryId=69
He's way of proving to the world who is greater, Pacquiao has 3 loses and he is undefeated. And why not? His fans and supporters are all stupid enough to believe on him .
Mayweather was robbed in a number of his amateur losses. Also, he faced Euro-level legends Artur Gevorgyan and Seraim Todorov in the amateur ranks. Pacquaio has never faced this quailty of opposition and would have been KO-ed in the amateurs by these warriors. Losses or no losses, both Pacquaio and Mayweather would fare poorly against the following athletes: Vyacheslav Senchenko 30-0 Selcuk Aydin 20-0 Vitaliy Demyanenko 19-0 Aslanbek Kozaev 11-0 Ravshan Hudaynazarov 12-0 Stefan Stevanovic 10-0
thread is about mayweather and he posted a picture of calzaghe. i have his career set and i've been sharing it and i think the only reason people download it is to see his level of competition. so what can i say about his his fights and competition? garbage.
