Is the rios acosta fight worth watching?

**** yeah, good as fight, those Nebraska people on the DeMaarco fight deserved the Rios-Acosta fight!

 

Do you not have Showtime?

They replayed it late last night, and probably again this morning.

The next replay is on Showtime Extreme at 10:30 pm on Tuesday.

I'd be amazed if it doesn't show up on Youtube before then, though

(although the non-televised co-feature in Nebraska - Berrio vs. Echols - was probably fun while it lasted...all of seven minutes...)

 

Amazing fight, Rios proved to have some intangibles; chin, heart etc... FOTY candidate for sure.

 

This fight is the type of fight you'd enjoy even if you did'nt know or have rooting interest for either fighter.

If you are one that prefers the boxer, you'd like this one to......Acosta was exellent early to mid rounds boxing Rios. In fact, it looked early on that Rios had bitten off more than he could chew.

The bottom line is that it was great styles clash, and better yet, both were evenly matched as far as the level each employs their respective styles.

 

Yeah, today I showed it to my gf who hasn't really watched boxing with me in a while and I'm pretty sure she'd never seen either of them...

About halfway through, when Acosta started slowing down and getting tagged more she was clasping her hands together and whispering "Come on, Acosta!!"

Then she applauded the KO.

Acosta's a very good Lightweight, really suprised me. He'd be hell for anyone and just might beat many of the top guys if that Kayo didn't ruin him.

This fight is a must see! Excellent back and forth action, violence, brutality

 

Although I was rooting for Acosta, I must admit this fight was very exciting!

Must watch!
