FYI Manchesters 2008 Olympian Joe Murray won last night on the Foster undercard against Daniel Kodjo Sassou over 8 rds 80-71.

Joe had Daniel down in the 3rd round who survived to the bell.
Daniel took a great left hook to the body from Joe at end of 5th only for the bell to ring which then had Daniel go down on his knee for a while but it was no count as the bell had ended the rd.

It was a good fight Daniel had some success as well in the fight and it was a good focused performance from joe who goes to 10-0 now .

Joe it was a great performance from him! And a great learning fight as Daniel did not fold under some good pressure from Joe! Throws a beaut of a left hook to the body btw! Great performance!! Onwards and upwards!!!

Congrats Joe, very good win that. What weight is Joe going to fight at? He has made 122 before but he is very big and i'm guessing that he might be too big for that weight.

Congratulations Joe. What happened at the weigh in? Did the other guy come in heavy?

    John Murray = Vitali

    Joe Murray = Wladimir

    Of the lighter weights.

Joe can still do super bantam and most probably end up super feather in time , which ever the opportunities arise and what weight we will decide .
Nothing wrong at weigh in just they announced 9st 5 for Daniel when it was 9st 5 oz that all .

Great to hear. Very impressed each time I have caught a glimpse on him. Really looking forward to the late year fights that could be on hand for Joe.
