Demzor its not rocket science. In a boxing match Sherk gets owned. In MMA Floyd gets owned. There is no dispute in this there diffrent rules diffrent skill sets.Anyway Sherk is a 180lb guy who boils down to make 55.His also on steroids..So why the comparisons with Floyd?:think

that because ufc champions get knocked out all the time by strikers not on boxing champions league...

liddel, couture, tito, ken shamrock, ect, ect

all have been knocked out or dominated with strikes.... from lesser strikers then say a mormeck, haye, pavlik, cintron ect.

boxing fans hate how mma fans think that no boxer in the world would know how to ****ing grapple. do you not think these guys get into other fights at all?

give most boxing champions 6 months intense grappling practise and i garuntee you they would have a good base on to which to work with.

i hate these discussion though im outta here

Thats abosolute hogwash.MMA is far bigger in Japan where PRIDE used to rountinely have crowds of around 35-45,000 at there events. Its the home of MMA and massively popular in the East. It also has a huge following in Brazil with the original Vale Tudo schools boasting some of the best talents. At least educate yourself before you make brash assertions like that.

don't lie to me. I watch MMA and these rules are surely enforced. Fanboys of MMA like to keep saying how real it is. But in truth it's just another sport and like other sports, it has rules.

Now wether or not you like it is up to you, but it is not the #1 sport nor will it be anytime soon. Yes its growing, but it's far from #1.

My response was to that list of "rules." Personally I think that list is a fiction because violations of that particular list of rules are common.

You have never seen a streetfight with a world class wrestler, or a judo blackbelt, or a brazilian ju jitsu blackbelt.

Most shitty streetfighters dont know how to fight on the ground, they feel more comfortable on their feet so they tend to keep the fight standing as long as possible...

I mean, seriously, if you box amateurly or whatever, just go visit your local BJJ gym and see what its all about. I am sure they will change your mind about the importance of groundfighting.

Fking hell!!! Who gives a toss???? This argument is about as gay as some tennis players saying 'squash sucks get some bigger raquets', the sports are vaguely connected yeah because they involve 1 bloke twatting another in some form, but this argument is just picky and childish haha!!!! Personally i watch and have trained a bit in both, mma is the harder sport imo, i boxed quite naturally and you only have to worry about 2 big gloved fists coming towards u, mma however is a world of pain and people dissing it as 2 gays on a mat.........GET DOWN TO YOUR LOCAL MMA GYM and try a session out, see if you have the same attitude after it ,because there is a world of difference in being hit with the different gloves used in each sport!!!!

    Bump lol

  13. Fedor's now chilling with boxing and political supremos. While Dana and Zuffa tries to create a rift between sports, Fedor and his crew just sits back and enjoys the great sport of boxing/MMA and enjoy great sportsmen in action.
