    Certainly agree on that!

I remember after Mundine beat Jurez, and the next morning the sports radio station were going on about how he'd just won another world title!

    ....oh FFS!

Under the 'winner take all' if legit format, could you imagine "Trainer, please train me for 8 weeks, Mr Cutman, please attend to my cuts on the night, ohh and by the way, I might not be able to pay you if we get beat!"

I agree contendo but the small purse big prize for the winner could get some difficult fights on

The money should be agreed the way it always is.
These guys have the guts to get in the ring then pay them both well and don't dangle carrots in front of their noses.

They're not dogs, treat them with dignity.

I think a 70/30 split to the winner would be better. At least the loser comes out with something. Why train 2-3months in advance if know one gets paid??
Both boxers/trainers must have a strong ego or very prideful

that first round was quite big for blake with the knockdown...
if michael had won the first (as opposed to suffering a 10 - 8 ), samantha bulner would have scored it 1 point in favor of michael, thus creating a split decision and a definite rematch
