Can ATG status be attained without a trial by fire?

    Genuine ATG's have all gone beyond the call of duty.

    As for Duran, he more than proved himself. I cannot understand how anyone doesn't rate him. He's a bonafide top 10 ATG, no question. Win, lose or draw Duran would give any other P4P ATG the fight of their life!

    (PS much as I can't stand his defensive, spoiling style Mayweather is legit, with a good resume - not fair to compare him to the likes of Calzaghe or the Klits.)
