its very hard to argue against SRR.

 

How many here have actually seen Sugar Ray Robinson fight?

 

The fighters Mayweather has NO CHANCE of passing are

1. Henry Armstrong (the GOAT beat 10 hall of fame fighters, held featherweight, lightweight, and welterweight titles at the SAME TIME)
2. the Original Sugar Man (very close to GOAT, beat 11 hall of fame fighters)
3. Harry Greb (deepest resmue ever, maybe if floyd decides to fight 40 times a year for the next 3 years and only loses about 4-5 of those fights he will be on this level)
4. Willie Pep (Started his carrer 63-0 and 131-1 while beating Hall of Fame fighters, almost died in a plane crash and wins about 80 fights after that beating a top 30 ATG in Saddler in the process)

8. Muhammad Ali

11. Archie Moore (the more I see his fights the more I am inclined to put him in the top 5)

33. Floyd Mayweather Jr. (all the talent in the world and is moving up quickly with impressive wins over fighters like Hatton, but he has some work to do for sure)

 

If you take into consideration the adversity, the scale of weight, the natural gifts, the ring smarts, God given talent, and who could still compete today in his own weight class (or even still dominate it)...it's not even close. Sugar Ray Robinson wins hands down.

 

Dude, we have the exact same list and ideas on their legacys. Only I have SSR above Henry Armstrong. Tho HA does pose a threat to the # 1 ranking. You know your boxing my friend.

 

Thank you friend :good SRR makes a case for sure and looks better on flim but betting all those HOF fighters and titles at 126, 135, and 147 at the same time I give the nod to Hammerin, Ray was a gem though.

 

Robinson or Duran. Alis does not compare to these boys I am not sure he'd make my top 10 to be honest.

That question is subjective . . . so you won't get a precise logical answer. The best answer you'll get is getting about 3 to 4 names backed by different arguements.
