Lets be clear, Pacquiao is facing the same old Mosley that Floyd fought!

Not really, styles makes fights and I predicted Shane to beat Margarito.

I think at this stage in his career, Shane can be outboxed by a fast superior boxer. This is the same Shane who struggled greatly against Mayorga, lost to Cotto, destroy Margo, lose to PBF, draw with Mora and now he will lose to Pac.

This is what I mean about boxing fans being fickle, they go by last performance as if its the be all end all. The last performance is simply that, the "last" performance and is not necesarily an indicator of their current level...you gotta look deeper than that to see what level the fighter currently is on.

In Football, if Man U lost their last game to Bolton, it doesn't mean their "shot", it just means they lost that match, they could go on to beat a top team next game.

Mosley has been past it for a while.

It is an honest and reasonable opinion too.

Mosley is now being faced AFTER he is a known quantity. When he had that X factor, post Cotto and post Margo, only one man would take him on. Now that he was embarrassed, couldn't beat Mora who lost to a journeyman in Vera (though one of my favorite fighters), NOW Pac takes him on?

Pac is facing Mosley but it is in NO WAY the same Mosley Mayweather fought. It is the Mosley Mayweather explosed. Just like De La Hoya. Just like Hatton. Every single fighter Pac faces he does it AFTER they have been figured out.

    What a BS analysis.

Then you compare a team sport to Boxing?

How about if a single player at a single position has a string of crappy games? Yes. He is shot. :deal

You *******s never give up selling that BS do you?

The difference in this fight is, Mosley have a greater chance of hitting Pac then with Mayweather. I can assure you he'll hit Pac a good number of times through out there fight. Margarito can hit him Mosley dame sure will as well.

I disagree. The Mosley Floyd faced was the one Mora faced; never before the Floyd fight had Mosley EVER had trouble with stamina. That was actually one of his strong points. Even if he was being outboxed by Winky, Oscar, and Floyd, the one Floyd faced was the mirror image Mora faced. PreFloyd Shane would go 12 rounds no problem. Cotto and Mayorga faced a better, more consistent version of Mosley. There's no question about it. But to be fair, Manny will be facing the same version Floyd and Mora fought, not the versions Cotto and Mayorga fought.

Lets put it this way. The Mosley that fought Floyd is way past his prime and a win over Margo doesnt change that.

This Mosley is more way past prime than the one Floyd fought.

What am I selling exactly? Stating facts.

If a fighter is at a certain level, and he fights fighters around that level, he will lose to some, and win some and styles will play a big role. In the case of Pac/PBF, their a clear cut above Mosley these days. In the case of Cotto/Margo/Mosley, personally if they all repeated their fights now, it would be similar.

Cotto-Mosley will be a very close fight. Cotto-Margo will be closer as Cotto will attempt to box more. Mosley KO's Margo again. Mora is a taller, bigger slick fighter who makes everyone look bad.

If a player has a string of crappy games, yes he is shot. Mosley hasnt had a string. He's had 2. His string at the moment looks like this...crap(mayo), good(cotto), excellent(Margo), crap(PBF), crap(Mora).

Maybe its his opponents making Mosley look like crap or good and his consistency is down to the fact that he is past it and so therefore its not a case of him being so good he overcomes everyone, its a case of who can he overcome based on the opponent at this stage of his career.

He runs a few successful businesses, is college educated, and has a career as a politician.

People must be real stupid if they think emmanuel isn't aware of what goes on in his boxing career. Didn't it come out of his own mouth that he's risking his life each time he fights? This boxing **** isn't something he takes lightly.

Well dont you realize, its Floyd's fault he is fighting Mosley. Floyd forced him to take this fight, so that he can feed his family. Without this fight, Pac would be completely broken as a man!
