sergio still wants cotto

    do you guys feel this would be a good fight for cotto if he beats mayorga and margarito? it would take place at 155 lbs sometime around nov....

    Cotto has more balls then pac and may, if he wins his 2 fights and then fights sergio he will have a great year, I think martinez beats him though, decision or late stoppage. Cotto doesnt care he will take on the risk, if he is able to pull it off he has a good chance to be fighter of the year I think.

    lets see how Cotto is against Mayorga then Margarito. Nobody really knows how good Cotto is now - is he shot? or is he still firing... If he wins these two fights in good fashion, then maybe he would have a shot against Martinez.

    Martinez reportedly wants his belt back. After Chavez-Zbik is over with, he will demand to fight the titlist (as opposed to actual champ - cause let's face it, neither Chavez or Zbik deserve the belt at this time).

    Doubt Cotto wants in on this fight.

    cotto would glady take this fight and if you think otherwise you dont know cotto,especially at having the chance to beat last years fighter of the year,get another belt at a higher weight class 4th division

    Martinez is a class fighter and i admire him but he should prove his greatness by fighting one weight class higher by beating a decent fighter in that weight if not the top dog.

    stop picking on the little fighter. he has the tools and the skills, he'll win against them no problem.

    Yeah i agree with this. I don't think Cotto can beat Martinez.
    Would love to see Cotto win fighter of the year.
