I mentioned this as ringside did. Feature on akaash recently

He was stopped in the fourth by Andrejs Tolstihs the guy who Jeffries stopped in the first round in Newport where him and price each had terrible opponents

Not surprised tbh. Didn't look up to much the bits they showed of him.

I'm not too surprised either. But, hopefully this loss makes him stronger and he can come back from this setback. He's only young, so has plenty of time to work on things. Plus, he has a good following which is always a good thing in getting opportunities.

I echo those sentiments, Kos. But he really did look shite although admittedly the clips were very brief. His punch technique looked awful and so did his defence. Won't be holding my breath, i'm afraid.

Whatever they showed of him on ringside, he looked horrible. You could tell how poor he was from the padwork with Mccrory

I'm glad someone else saw it too. You tend to pick up on little things like that when you've watching this sport for all these years. Anyway, good luck to the kid. :good

Maybe I'm too much of an optimist

But I'm not going to throw the lad on the scrapheap just yet :good

To be honest it wasn't hard to pick up at all. I was like "am I supposed to take this seriously, why are Sky even bothering with him?"

I don't wanna be harsh on the kid but it is what it is.........

Same as what Slip has said from the brief bits I seen on Ringside I was left wondering what McCrory was on when he wrote the article about him a year or so back. Making references to Tyson and other stuff.

Losing to a guy like that doesn't look great.... here he is in action against Jeffries.....

Still, he's a young guy, a loss can sometimes help a kid.
