What about Dzinzurik? I'd imagine he'd be closer to the limit or even below it

I might be showing my ingroances but 167 seemes pretty heavy a week away from a 160 fight.

actually a decent idea designed to stop massive cuts in weight on the day

167 a week away is actually pretty ideal. Its a lb a day, plus he should be able to take off a couple pounds from dehydrating alone, which he can put right back on. This is a good sign from sergios camp

Yeah I think against Williams, Martinez was at 166 or 167 at the seven-day weigh-in. So he has to cut a bit less this time around.

7 pounds to lose in a week is really easy to do. He could do it (if he works with some pro nutritionist) in a single day. Perfect weight at this time.

This is the first time I'm hearing this.

Is this gonna be in place for all WBC title fights?

    what's the tolerance allowed?

what happens when a fighter doesn't make it?

Martinez has grown into a good sized middleweight, but he still only wants to fight smaller guys.
