    Told everybody that beating an old weathered fighter, even one who had a great chin in his day, does not a massive puncher make.

    Alvarez is a good hitter, not a great one, and a good, solid fighter, not yet a top 5 in his division. He was being overrated. Hopefully, failing to get rid of a welterweight with all the advantages, and every possible circumstance lined in his favor brings people to earth.

    Wait a LITTLE bit longer before you crown him the next great, is all I'm saying.

    Alvarez is catching Hatton with some downright nasty hooks. Hatton is getting inside and mauling, holding and hitting and pushing Alvarez to the ropes. Alvarez ultimately keeps overpowering him on the inside and landing hard shots and spinning Hatton off of him when he tries to clinch. Hatton has an AMAZING chin. Alvarez lands a monstrous hook.

    ****ing matthew hatton. i love this guy! tons of heart, tough as hell, and never lets up. has no chance of winning the fight, but is doing a hell of a job entertaining us fans.
