    not a bad idea
but most customers are sold on the design
and most boxers prefer the simple classic old skool look
i would wear if they came in plain colours

I find them annoying. Sparred against a guy who had customized gloves. Bright colors. Kinda distracted me cos they were so stupid looking.

The double wrist strap looks interesting but Id have to try them on to really know and Im with everyone else when it comes to those colors. I like plain old school gloves. Solid colors .

The construction? Looks good, but a bit hard to handle alone.

    The prints? Hideous.

Protip: Boxing is one of those simple sports where changes come rarely. If you want a secure strap? Use a doubled back strap through a D ring (IMF Tech, Title Gel). Best wrist support of any hook and loop glove out there. All that other crap is just fluff.

Good Point !!! They would be near impossible to put on alone. The single wide velcro strap can at least be gripped with the other glove

Yep. Putting them on is cool. You are fresh and ready to go. It is after killing yourself on the bag THEN having to deal with that nonsense. Nothing worse after a hard workout than to have to bite onto a glove and get hooks in your teeth.

In honesty they are quite easy to put on etc, having tried them in the gym this week.

I get what you mean about the designs, it's each to their own :)

They have been marketed more for the muay thai/mma market more so, just wanted a boxing perspective

    Cheers everyone :)

Also we can do them in plain colours if you'd rather?

Get them in 10oz and 16 oz now :)

Really? I have a pair of Rival Elite bag gloves with a similarly complicated strap system. It is a bit overkill.

The designs are cool and you are exactly right. Considering your target market? The designs are solid.

I think to do a "solid" color might not give you enough "pizazz". To sell to a Boxing crowd you may want to go a bit more monochromatic with blocks of color like Grants with alternating colors for stitch groups, thumb, palm, cuff, etc...

10 and 16? Odd numbers. Locking down the heavy and feather weights?

We wish you much success! :thumbsup

    way too loud
I like classic gloves. I still use lace-ups. more support.
the therma-flow palm ventilated system would be terrible because I would feel like part of the glove is missing. who cares if your hands get sweaty and stinky.
Boxing is artistically grimy, it's fighting. the furthest boxing should go is flashy trunks, and even then it can be annoying if done macho camacho style.

cheers for the constructive points mate :)

I haven't used the Rival gloves tbh, however I have found these ok in the gym, no major issues.

Point taken on the colours, do you reckon there would be interest if we make them in monochrome style?

You are welcome. Always great to see someone following the dream of being an entrepreneur.

"Overkill" is a bit of "over statement" on my part. I am sure your system is sound and not too big a hassle. I am just grumbling. :yep In my experience the simple hook and loop attached to an elastic wrap around cuff usually wears out. Attached to a leather cuff, depending on your wrist, it can leave you with "over hang". The best I have used is the looped back D-ring of the IMF Tech and Title Gel. I am baffled why no-one else uses it.

Speaking as a person giving you honest advice? It is doubtful. I don't know about the fit and finish, but due to the budgets of so many Boxing hobbyists? Boxers buy what they know/heard of.

Boxing is very "snobbish" (or economically restricted?) when it comes to equipment (you have enough money to buy Winning/Grant/Reyes or you are at Title and Ringside) and unless the design is amazing? You would be hard pressed to beat say a Title for long as they ruthlessly scan the market and use their production clout to SHAMELESSLY rip of ANYTHING gaining traction. Drives me nuts.

You are probably better off making a "Boxer friendly" design (knocking off Winning) and marketing the glove to the MMA crowd as a striking/Boxing glove, while making sure to do a bit of cross marketing to the Boxing crowd. For example take a look at Triumph United Japanese Heat Seeker line. Can't help where the money and growth are. Boxing markets are mature and filled with giant sharks.

But what the hell do I know? :conf

Those are ****ing hideous, to be more constructive (and not just be a dick) though I like simple colors, just red/black/blue. Those seem so... MMA-y. As for how they feel/lace up, no comment I guess.
